Initial Cleaning

The very first time we clean your house it will be what we consider a deep, thorough cleaning. Why? Well, we believe that the initial cleaning needs to be a more thorough cleaning so that we can get the level of cleanliness of your home to a level where we can, afterwards, systematically maintain it.
We also assume that the first time we go into a customer's home, we will face "surprises" - for example, more dust and more areas in need of "elbow grease" attention. This is also part of the reason why the initial cleaning rate is more than the subsequent visit rates. INITIAL CLEANING TASKS
Below, you will find the tasks included in our initial cleaning. Please keep in mind that many of these tasks are also included in our routine visits - those that are not, we make sure to systematically include every few weeks. Also, do not worry about cleaning supplies. We provide all of our own cleaning material. However, if you'd like us to use a specific brand or a specific cleaner, then we would ask you to provide it. Otherwise, we will take everything that is needed to clean your home!
This is our system. And, it is based on two team members per home. Our cleaning philosophy is:
"From top to bottom. From the rear of the house towards the front door."
Also, do not worry about cleaning supplies. We provide all of our own cleaning material. However, if you'd like us to use a specific brand or a specific cleaner, then we would ask you to provide it. Otherwise, we will take everything that is needed to clean your home!

"From top to bottom. From the rear of the house towards the front door."
- One of the very first things we do when we go into a house is we go around with an extendable feather duster and check for any cobwebs or spiderwebs on ceiling corners, moldings, recessed lighting, window frames, and door frames.
- In the bathrooms, we will go ahead and clean the bathtub/shower, toilet, sink, countertops, mirrors, and vacuum and mop the floors; and, take out any trash.
- In the bedrooms, our service includes making beds; so, if you leave clean sheets on top of the bed, that will be an indication to us that you want us to make the bed.* We will dust the furniture, wipe down window shutters, clean mirrors, vacuum carpet or vacuum/mop floor; and, take out any trash.
- In the kitchen, we will clean the countertops, stove top, stove grills, refrigerator (inside and outside), microwave (inside and outside), oven (inside and outside - unless it is "self-cleaning"), cabinets (outside only), sink, and vacuum/mop the floor; and, take out any trash.
