Our 2019 Q1 Objective

​As 2018 winds down we want to take some time out to say...
​Thank you!

From the bottom of our heart we want to thank each and every one of you for having allowed us to clean your home in 2018 - whether you hired us this year or whether you've been with us since 1979 (Yes!  We have customers going way back!  You know who you are!) we want to express our sincerest gratitude for keeping us in business.

Over the years we've realized that the most important thing we can do to improve the quality of our cleaning service is to ask our customers for feedback.  We're not perfect; we know that.  In fact, we know that perfection is rarely attainable.  However, we work (and we train our staff) under Coach Wooden's philosophy:
​"Perfection is what you are striving for, but perfection is an impossibility. However, striving for perfection is not an impossibility. Do the best you can under the conditions that exist. That is what counts.”

​We want to assure you that we will continue to strive for perfection during each and every visit.  And, we are planning 2019 to be an even better year when it comes to delivering quality home cleaning and customer service.  Here are a few specific objectives we will be working on in 2019: 
  • Juanita's House Cleaning App
    • ​We will be launching our app which will allow our current customers to keep track of their cleaning appointments
      • ​Our app will allow you to notify us in advance of any modifications you'd like to do to your schedule
      • You will also be able to let us know if there is a particular section/area of your home, that you'd like us to focus on during a particular visit
  • Weekly Focus on Extras 
    • Starting in 2019, we will have weekly areas of focus where we will focus an entire week focusing on certain tasks.  For example, 
      • Week of Light Switches
        • During "Week of Light Switches" we will focus on cleaning all of your light switches as an extra task
    • We always strive to do something extra on each visit and this will allow us to keep track of the extras we've been cleaning in your home.
    • Our weekly and every-other-week customers will be able to enjoy this feature the most
  • Systematic Employee Training 
    • Many of you know our cleaning philosophy: top to bottom, back to front.  What this means is that we focus on the top areas of your house - cobwebs and spiderwebs, for example - and work our way down towards the floor.  We also work from the back area of the house towards the front door - this prevents us from going into areas that we've already cleaned.
    • We will start implementing new training strategies so that our current and potential team members can program their cleaning methods - therefore being consistent on every visit.

Finally, if there is anything you think we should focus on in this new year, please feel free to let us know.  We are always open to constructive criticism.

This is really great! I appreciate that Juanita’s is forward thinking about better ways to serve clients. It’s nice to know that my feedback is not only always welcomed but appreciated. Looking forward to continued great service in 2019!

I was a long term customer and you failed completely. You were over two hours late every week and NEVER bothered to follow up. And then just stopped showing up after I was a customer for 10 years. Not impressed

Hi Lynn,

You are absolutely right. We do owe you an apology.

When we were on the 7:30 am appointment, however, I believe that we were never late; I might be mistaking. The issue began when we switched to the afternoon appointment.

We tried our best to make it on time when we switched to the afternoon schedule, but to be honest it became too difficult to make it on time since you were our only customer that far north in Los Angeles County. We tried, but we overextended and we, as you have stated, failed.

We want to let you know, though, that we valued you highly as a customer and we value the lesson we learned. Because of this experience we actually made some policy changes within our business.

We want to thank you for having allowed us to clean your home for such a long time. We are grateful for you and your family - you were extremely nice with us and we will always be thankful for that.

I wish you and your loved ones all the best always. May you have the best holiday season and a blessed new year!
